Chris, Ed, Steven, and the Vine Home Solutions team are my go-to for all aspects of renovation and maintenance. Their attention to detail, skill, communication, promptness, fairness, and level of professionalism are unmatched for this kind of work. I could not run my business without their efforts every week of every month, year round. All of my clients who have interacted with VHS are impressed with their level of operation, and it gives me peace of mind to know that things are being done properly. VHS goes above and beyond, and I am very proud to call them a partner!

Garage remodel
Natalie

Steven from Vine Home Solutions did an AMAZING job finishing our garage. Everything was done with precision and was well thought out. He was great at communicating if something wasn't going as we had originally thought (i.e - switching from a stain on our cabinets to a paint which looked SO much better!). We really appreciated him shifting things around to accommodate when the weather was too hot to allow for the sealing on the floor to set properly. Steven's first priority was to get the job done right and leave us with a perfect finished product. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done on their home!

Bathroom Remodel
Nathan

I'm extremely grateful that Chris took on my basement bathroom remodel project. He's a jack of all trades and was able to do everything including demoing the old bathroom down to the studs, replacing old rotted pipes, rerouting plumbing, moving the shower and toilet drains, replacing the drywall, installing all the tile, new shower and vanity, etc. You name it - he can do it. My bathroom went from being an outdated, early 90's disaster to a gorgeous designer bathroom and the nicest one in the house. My bathroom presented multiple unforeseen issues and Chris was always willing and able to come up with creative solutions to every new challenge. Very impressed with his craftsmanship and know-how, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Homeowner and renter
Erica + Liz

We consider the VHS team our go-to guys for home repairs (who knew a broken disposal could smell so bad?), home improvement jobs (how did we ever get by without a keypad lock?), and all the jobs we don’t have the patience to do ourselves (I’d rather have a root canal than assemble furniture). We’ve called on VHS to handle many projects, from mysterious leaks and clogged drains to mounting a REALLY big t.v. to quirky appliance problems to fixing stubborn doors to securely hanging shelves to tackling dreaded assembly projects. The VHS team knows what they are doing, and they are super friendly and dependable. We are two busy, professional female housemates who highly recommend VHS. Thanks for always showing up, guys! We appreciate you!

Tenant Improvement

Commercial properties come with a special set of service and maintenance needs that must be met to ensure functionality, comfort, and safety for occupants and tenants. An experienced maintenance team is also critical to building owners who want to protect the value of their asset by keeping it in good working order, which also helps maintain a high occupancy rate.

Commercial maintenance encompasses many jobs and behind the scenes activities requiring varying levels of skill and the ability to respond quickly and competently in an emergency. From routine maintenance to preventive to corrective, Vine Home Solutions has extensive experience prioritizing and managing the many needs of commercial clients in overseeing and maintaining their buildings.

Whether it’s unclogging a garbage disposal, tidying up the grounds, fixing the sprinkler system, redoing drywall, fixing door frames, or dealing with a burst pipe, we have the knowledge and experience to keep commercial properties running steady.

Commercial Services

Steven brings 16 years of experience in property maintenance and three years in home remodeling to the VHS team. Steven has worked several half-year stints as a Utility Mechanic doing commercial maintenance at McMurdo Station in Antarctica (we think he might be part polar bear). Steven is also a skilled carpenter with incredible woodworking talent. We find his attention to detail in every job simply unrivaled. Since joining VHS in 2022, Steven has significantly grown our residential clientele base. Our customers love him!

Chris has more than 13 years of knowledge and know-how under his belt. Chris’ skill arises out of the old school technique of learn by doing and his unwavering refusal to pay someone to do something he could do himself. He’s the guy who worked on projects – his own, his friends’, his family’s, his neighbor’s, and didn’t give up until he got the job done right. From cars to cribs, we don’t think there’s anything Chris can’t fix, or build, or figure out. Eventually, Chris worked full-time as a commercial maintenance technician for a Denver company for several years. Prior to that, he was a long-time chef, and let’s just say nobody passes up an invitation for dinner at the Vine house.

Family Owned and Operated

We’re thrilled you’re thinking of hiring Vine Home Solutions! We’re Chris and Kelsey, the owners and operators of VHS, and this is our little babo-chubbins, Tansy. We’ve always dreamed of having our own business, and after many stressful years in public finance (Kelsey) and two decades of working for others (Chris), we finally took the plunge and started VHS. We couldn’t be happier about our decision!

We’ve both worked in the biz helping the parents flip houses – a lot of houses, so we are no strangers to the hard work and hardships of home repair and renovation. We’ve also made endless repairs on and renovated two of our own homes and understand firsthand that it is indeed a labor of love. We also value how important it is to never cut corners and be cost conscious at the same time. We brought that attitude with us when we started VHS, and what a solid foundation it is.

As a family owned and operated company, our customers benefit from our loyalty to customer satisfaction, quality work, and affordable rates. It keeps our customers coming back and the new referrals coming in!  We look forward to meeting you and helping you better your home or property!

the vines!

Hi, we're

Yes, we handle all permits and licensing requirements for the job. The client pays the associated fees, which we include in the project proposal.

What if the job requires a permit? Do you handle that?

Yes, when necessary. For the services we are not licensed to provide, such as extensive electrical, plumbing, and HVAC projects, we have established relationships with several trusted, experienced subcontractors. We will always let you know if we anticipate the need to bring in a subcontractor and discuss your options.

Do you use subcontractors?

Yes! We are fully insured with general liability and workers comp coverages to protect you, your home, and our specialists in the unlikely event of an accident, injury, or damage to your property.

Are you insured? What does it cover?

Yes. We guarantee our workmanship for one year. Conditions and exclusions apply. The terms of the warranty are included with the proposal.

Do you guarantee your work?

The project proposal serves this purpose for our residential jobs. It outlines the project objectives, terms, and labor and materials costs. For larger commercial clients, we rely on a more formal, comprehensive contract.

Do you have a written contract?

We understand that not every repair need or project can wait. If our schedule allows, we will accommodate your urgent needs during regular operating hours (8am-5pm Mon-Fri) for no additional charge. If services must be scheduled outside our regular operating hours, we charge a 30% upcharge per labor hour.

Do you provide services during the evening or on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays? What about emergency or same-day service?

No! Property access is discussed during the project proposal phase and is entirely based on your comfort level. If you prefer to be home, we’ll only be there when you are too. If you are away, we can provide pictures of the finished job and lock up after we leave. We treat your home with the utmost care and respect.

Do I need to be on the property at the time of service?

We serve the Denver Metro area. For a $75 round-trip fee, we will travel as far south as Colorado Springs and north to Ft. Collins.

What areas do you serve?

If you need to reschedule before or after accepting the proposal, no worries, we can accommodate your schedule! If you need to cancel, have accepted the proposal and paid for materials, we charge a 5% restocking fee.

What is your reschedule or cancellation policy? What if I’ve paid a deposit?

Absolutely! If new expenses are outside the accepted proposal, we will present you with a change order and get your okay. Any additional approved cost will be included in the final invoice.

Will you let me know if you discover there will be additional expenses or more work than you expected?

Materials are charged upfront per the accepted proposal, and VHS takes care of purchasing. For items that involve preference, of course you’ll choose what’s to your liking. We do not require a deposit. Labor is charged with the final invoice that is due Net 15. Change orders are by customer approval only, and any change from the proposal is charged with the final invoice. We will clearly explain any difference in charges, whether more or less than what’s reflected in the proposal. We do apply a 15% late fee after 15 days. We accept cash, check, or Venmo. Venmo charges a 2% fee which is paid by the customer.

How do you charge? Do you require a deposit? Will I need to pay for material upfront?

Projects are priced on a case by case basis. Simple jobs are billed by the hour and larger projects are quoted and delivered in a proposal. For commercial customers, our rate depends on the skill level required for the job, and we consider whether we’ll be doing work on a one-time, weekly, monthly, or annual basis.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
